SafePass is designed with privacy as a fundamental part of its security architecture. The application analyzes typing behavior to recognize your unique typing pattern without reading or recording the actual content you type.

Your Typing Content Never Leaves Your Device

SafePass does not read, record, or store the words, sentences, or other content you type. The system analyzes characteristics of your typing behavior, such as timing patterns between keystrokes, rather than the characters or words themselves.

Think of it as recognizing your typing rhythm rather than reading what you are typing. This allows SafePass to identify changes in your behavior without needing access to the actual content on your screen.

Passwords and Payment Information

SafePass does not read or record passwords, credit card numbers, messages, documents, or other content you enter on your device. The application is designed to analyze typing behavior without accessing the information represented by your keystrokes.

Your typed content remains private on your device and is not sent to SafePass servers as part of the typing behavior analysis.

What SafePass Collects

SafePass collects only the behavioral information required to create and use your typing behavior model. This can include information such as the timing and intervals associated with your keystrokes.

This behavioral data is used to establish your normal typing pattern and detect significant changes that may indicate unusual activity. The raw behavioral data used for the model is securely stored on your device.

Local Processing

SafePass is designed to keep sensitive typing behavior processing on your device whenever possible. The behavioral model is created from your locally collected typing data, and SafePass can use that model locally to evaluate your typing behavior.

This privacy-first approach minimizes the need to transfer sensitive behavioral information outside your device.

Encrypted Communication

When SafePass needs to securely communicate information between the application and its services, transmitted data is encrypted during transit. Communications are made over HTTPS to protect data while it travels between your device and SafePass services.

Sensitive data that needs to be transferred for authorized processing is encrypted before transmission and protected throughout the communication process.

Privacy-First Security

SafePass follows a privacy-first approach to security: the system does not need to know what you type in order to recognize how you type. By separating typing behavior from typing content, SafePass can provide continuous authentication while minimizing access to sensitive information.

This approach also supports a zero-trust security philosophy, where access to sensitive information is minimized and systems are designed not to rely on unnecessary access to user data.
